The MVP uses a Stripe architecture: customers pay the platform, ComeMow keeps its service fee, and mowers receive payouts after customer approval. Development mode uses safe placeholders.
Customer payment
Customers approve the transparent quote and authorize payment before a job is dispatched.
Platform fee
ComeMow keeps the displayed 15% platform fee for marketplace operations, support, and admin tools.
Mower payout
The mower payout workflow starts after completion photos are uploaded and the customer approves the job.
Disputes and overrides
Admins can review photos, resolve disputes, override pricing, reassign jobs, or disable users when needed.
Real funds should stay in Stripe test mode until legal, tax, insurance, and payout operations are ready.
The current foundation keeps integration points clean so production Stripe keys, Connect onboarding, webhook verification, and payout rules can be added without rewriting the user flow.
