Attorney review required

Data Retention Policy

Draft operating rules for how long ComeMow keeps account, job, location, photo, insurance, and payment records.

Draft policy for pre-launch planning only. Have a qualified attorney review and replace this before public launch.

Photos and yard records

Before photos, selected mowing polygons, completion photos, and yard notes may be kept with the job record for customer history, mower proof of completion, support, and dispute review.

Draft default retention is three years after job completion unless a dispute, legal hold, insurance matter, tax rule, or safety review requires longer retention.

Addresses and account records

Customer addresses and mower service areas are kept while the account is active so users do not have to re-enter the same information each time.

If an account is closed, ComeMow may keep limited records needed for accounting, tax, safety, fraud prevention, support, and legal compliance.

Live location

Live mower location is used only after a mower accepts a job and should stop when the job is completed, canceled, or reassigned.

Draft default retention is 90 days for detailed live-location updates, unless needed for a dispute, safety incident, support issue, or legal requirement.

Insurance and payment records

Insurance uploads may be retained while the mower is active and for a post-service period needed to support claims, audits, legal review, or insurance verification.

Payment status, authorizations, captures, refunds, payouts, and chargeback records may be retained for at least seven years or as required by law and payment provider rules.
